I must’ve lied to myself
when I thought I could forget you,
turns out all I needed
was for you to forget me.
I will try close my eyes
and create new memories 
but just remind myself
of the repeated once cured eve
when we thought we knew
one another
but only just gave a chance
to one another
and have what we thought 
was so lost
in just ourselves.
