It’s in my nature to dwell;
to remember the bits,
that made all my limbs swell.
It was a cold winter evening
in the dutchest of land.
I came frantically stead heating
to see your head leaning back.
But when your eyes locked with mine
and wave started high,
I braced myself to come closer,
and feel my body against thine.
Nerves so intense
not even a spliff could fix,
and so the touch of your jacket
became a hint for your lips.
I know it was scary
but we dealt what we had
it became so intense,
our feelings stood fast.
If I could do it all over
I would listen and clasp
my hand in your palm,
and stay close forever
But with space to expand.
