dolls and walls

I pushed me away,
so far in a box
the joy became clear
when the dust came to gather.
I laughed at my sad,
picked finely my tune
to look so far gone
her eyes waiting for news.
nothing left behind
only the corners
wood and chewed
I wonder if she hides
or lies waiting inevitable doom.
the bed stayed standing,
no bunk like she wanted
all her hiding spots unused
yet still left stranded.
